The New Balance 1500 is still running hot from celebrating its milestone 35th birthday last year. And to back up the festivities, its ready to unveil its official collaboration with Salehe Bembury.

Safely regarded now as a sneaker collab veteran, Bembury is adding to its decorated lineup of NB link-ups including the New Balance 574 'Yurt' and more recently the New Balance 530.

Unlike the loud and experimental collaborations he is famously known for, the Salehe Bembury x New Balance 1500 takes a slight backseat on any flamboyancy and instead executes a much more understated look. Brown nubuck overlays sit atop grey mesh, while subtle pops of colour are added via the embroidered tongue branding, midsoles and outsoles.

Of course it wouldn't be special without a celebratory box to wrap things up.
